Originary people continue camping in Avenida de Mayo and 9 de Julio, a central intersection in Buenos Aires. The camp, named "Qopiwini" (short for Qom Pilaga Wichi Nivacle, the four ethnic groups that hold the protest), has been there continuously for over 130 days, with frequent blockades of both avenues, the last of which was suppressed by the police. They demand improvements in health and education for their communities and denounce persecution by Governor Gildo Insfran government.
